 Lee M. Fuller, Jr., Esq. passed away at his home in New York City on the evening of January 4, 2016, after courageously battling a series of cancer related illnesses. His beloved wife and son were by his side. Born on March 14, 1938, Lee was the son of Eunice Peckinpaugh and Lee M. Fuller and grew up in Bronxville, New York. He graduated from Bronxville High School in 1956, Princeton University Woodrow Wilson School of International Affairs in 1960 and Columbia University Law School in 1965. He then worked on the Lindsay mayoral campaign before joining the law firm of Shearman & Sterling in Manhattan. In 1978, Lee started his own law firm specializing in US Immigration which his son, Scott, carries on today as Fuller & Fuller LLP. He taught Immigration Law as an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University School of Law from 1981 to 2001. Commissioned into the ROTC program while at Princeton, Lee served on active duty in the Navy for two years aboard the USS ESSEX, seeing action in the Bay of Pigs. He then served for more than 30 years in the Navy Reserve, retiring as a Captain, Navy JAG Corps. From 1978 to 2016, he was a passionate and active member of The University Club. |
